The Story of Where It All Began

The Start of My Journey

My journey into the world of expressive arts therapy began where I felt most at home – in the world of creativity. It sparked a passion that has grown into the thriving practice I lead today.

The Turning Point

As a design student, I discovered my true passion resided not in layouts and lines, but in colouring outside them. It was an intuitive feeling that made me want to reach out to the expressive power of art and movement. This realization wasn’t just enlightening, it was a call to my deeper purpose.

An Early Connection with Dance

From a young age, Indian classical and folk dances were more than just performances to me; they were my solace, my truest expression. In the dance studio, I connected deeply with myself and something beyond – an experience I often wished I could share with others. Through movement, I grasped life, my identity and the world around me.

Vision

To merge expressive arts (and other therapy schools) with personal growth through a practice where creativity paves the way to self-awareness and connection.

Mission

To build a safe space for individuals and groups to heal and thrive through the transformative power of Expressive Arts Therapy & Internal Family Systems.

Meet Your Therapist

Hello, I’m Charvi, your witness and your co-traveller.

Beyond my professional role, I am an artist at heart, deeply rooted in the world of dance and evolving into the person I aspire to be. I find profound beauty in the everyday, in strong connections, and in the power of love. Amidst Mumbai’s concrete landscape, I find my grounding in pockets of nature.

My therapeutic approach emphasises on embracing the shared human experience, with creativity, play, and imagination at its core. Viewing therapy as a journey, not a quick fix, I help clients befriend their challenges and all parts of themselves, fostering resilience and self-discovery.

My practice is deeply collaborative, placing the client at the heart of care. I trusts that clients know themselves best and I support them in exploring what works for their unique needs, creating an empowering and nurturing therapeutic space.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance use issues, body image concerns, interpersonal relationship difficulties, grief, and life transitions. My practice also supports those looking to strengthen their mind-body connection, establish healthy boundaries, and cultivate self-compassion.

Grounded in a holistic, person-centered approach, I integrate Expressive Arts Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) to create care tailored to your unique needs. I work with adults, ages 18 and above, providing a safe and nurturing space for exploration, growth, and resilience.
